Raspa is pleased to announce that it has received a Letter of Comfort, dated 26th April 2026, from the Government of Uttar Pradesh for its upcoming greenfield project in Raebareli.
This milestone marks an important step in Raspa's growth journey and reinforces the company's commitment to strengthening India's pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities through advanced fermentation-based infrastructure.
The development follows Raspa's recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Invest UP to establish a state-of-the-art, multi-product fermentation-based manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh. Planned with a total fermentation capacity of 300 m³, the facility will focus on manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) across the therapeutic segments of oncology and autoimmune disorders. The proposed facility represents Phase 1 of the project and lays the foundation for scalable and sustainable manufacturing operations in the state.
Commenting on the development, Ms. Padmakshi Agarwal, CEO of Raspa, said:
"Receiving the Letter of Comfort from the Government of Uttar Pradesh is an important milestone for Raspa. This project reflects our long-term commitment to building advanced manufacturing capabilities in India and strengthening access to high-quality pharmaceutical solutions. We look forward to executing the project responsibly and contributing meaningfully to the continued growth of Uttar Pradesh's pharmaceutical and biotechnology ecosystem."
The receipt of the Letter of Comfort marks a significant step forward from strategic planning to execution and reflects growing confidence in Raspa's long-term vision of building high-quality, innovation-driven manufacturing capabilities aligned with evolving healthcare needs.
